Falcon Electronics now provides customers with NO CREDIT CHECK pre-paid data internet access on AT&T's advanced broadband networks and data service that provides strong platforms for our customers throughout the country. 

Data usage is only consumed when cameras are viewed from a mobile device, desktop, laptop or any device that is connected to the internet.

Sim card can be inserted directly into our Live streaming 1080p 3-8 camera MNVR system with 4G, WIFI and GPS or our LiveEye 1-4 Camera system.  NO CREDIT CHECK, NO CONTRACT required. After your one month of paid data service, if you decide to cancel, you can keep the AT&T prepaid  sim card and go direct with AT&T's post paid data plans of your choice. You may have to use a different sim card when going direct with AT&T.

WE will activate, install your sim card and connect it to your Falcon enabled 4G dash cam before we ship so the system will automatically connect once its is powered on with a 4G signal. 30 days of prepaid service starts once order is shipped. Option for us to not activate sim card, simply type in NOTES upon order to NOT ACTIVATE the AT&T before we ship.

PREPAID DATA PLAN:  Data usage is only consumed when cameras are viewed from a mobile device, desktop, laptop or any device that is connected to the internet.

  1. $40 per month for 15GB DATA USAGE
  2. $65 per month for UNLIMITED DATA USAGE
  3. $50 per month for unlimited usage for second month going forward if signed up for autopay. Only available after 1st month $65 unlimited usage service has been purchased.

Prepaid data plans must be paid before the following month to keep AT&T service activated. Prepaid service is on a month to month agreement with no contracts and the availability to cancel anytime.

We strongly recommend an 100GB plan and if you are out of 4G data and the carrier throttles, you will still have 3G service, video may not be as clear on 3G, but system will still be connected to the server and mobile apps.

How the live streaming works in terms of data.

  1. If a live viewing system is connected to our server or online using 3G/4G/LTE service, it will use very little data. If connected every day for 10-15 hours per day, 30 days per month, and there was not any LIVE STREAMING or remote downloading, this will use less than 2GB per month, probably closer to 1GB
  2. The only time where data is used is when the system is being viewed on mobile devices APP or web browser. Once a customer logs into the app or web browser and they start to live view the cameras, then data is starting to be used. This is a rough estimate
    1. 3 Cameras live streamed for about 1 hours = 1 GB
    2. 6 cameras live streamed for 1.5 Hours = 1.5 GB
  3. Remotely downloading video also uses a lot of data. If a customer remote downloads videos, then massive data is used.
  4. This is a rough estimate:
    1. 1080P Video, 20 minutes = 1GB (this is for one channel)
    2. 3 1080P Videos (3 cameras), 20 minutes per camera = 3GB

Slower speeds occur after allotment has been used in a monthly data cycle. All you pay is one price regardless of how much data you use.

1After you use your plans allotment of high-speed Internet data you will be subject to slower speeds, speed reduction will occur until your next data reset cycle date. Also depending on the plan chosen will determine how slow the restricted data will be. Video streaming quality may be slightly affected by the during service slow down periods. 

  1. This plan offers higher data speeds during your usage allotment period.

  2. After usage allotment is used up, slower speeds may occur.

  3. This plan is NOT speed limited, which allows for higher download / upload speeds.

  4. This plan can display up to 1080p HD quality on demand but higher quality may be obtained. Video quality is not guaranteed.

  5. Customers can switch at any time to higher or lower tiered allotment data plans and pay the difference for the new plan cost.

  6. Price includes all taxes, fees, line charges, etc..

  7. This plan has usage allotments but customers can use as much data as they need during the reduced speed allotment.

 

NETWORK PERFORMANCE

Based on AT&T's internal testing and testing commissioned from third-party vendors, AT&T expects customers will experience the following speeds unless such speeds are otherwise managed through video optimization practices described below:

* Depending on location, max speeds up to 940 Mbps. 4G LTE backup.
** With peak speeds of nearly 1 Gbps.
*** Video speeds may be slower depending on video resolution provided.

AT&T Wireless has used sound engineering principles in the design and operation of its broadband network to ensure a good user experience for all customers. An individual user’s experience will vary depending upon many factors, including the network (3G Ev-DO, or 4G LTE, or 5G UWB) the customer is using and the device in use. AT&T Wireless has implemented optimization technologies across its 4G LTE network to transmit data files in a more efficient manner to allow available network capacity to benefit the greatest number of users. These techniques include TCP optimization, video caching, and sizing video files more appropriately for mobile devices. The optimization process is agnostic as to the content itself and to the website that provides it. While AT&T Wireless invests much effort to avoid changing text, image, and video files in the optimization process and while any change to the file is likely to be indiscernible, the optimization process may minimally impact the appearance of the file as displayed on a customer's device.

In addition, in order to optimize customers’ video viewing experiences on their devices over our 4G LTE network while ensuring a high quality experience for other users of the network, AT&T seeks to transmit video downloads or streams to smartphones at 720p and to devices with larger screens at 1080p, unless a different video resolution is disclosed in the description of a particular plan. This practice does not make any distinction based on the content of the video or the source website. To achieve this optimization, AT&T limits the throughput speeds of such video downloads or streams over our 4G LTE network;(which may be below the 5-12 Mbps 4G LTE download speeds typically provided). This practice results in the video provider’s content server sending the appropriate resolution video file for that speed, if available.

With respect to latency for use of real-time data applications, AT&T Wireless expects network to device (round-trip) latency to be less than 30 ms on its 5G UWB network, less than 100 ms on its 4G LTE network, less than 30 ms for LTE Home Internet, and less than 240 ms on its 3G Ev-DO network.

You must be using an approved, network compatible device and be within the AT&T coverage area to access the AT&T network. Whether you experience these speeds depends on many factors, including among others, the type of device, the programs running on the device, your location, and how many other customers are attempting to use the same spectrum resources (including both mobile broadband internet access and other non-broadband internet access services that share the network, such as Private Network Traffic Management, HD Voice, Push to Talk Plus, and MDM).
